I only ever make tea with a tea bag in the mug.

This weekend, our vicar is coming round, and I would like to make a proper pot of tea.

But ... I'm not sure how to go about it.

Has anyone ever made a pot of tea and, if so, could you tell me how to go about it ?

ps. I bought a tea pot today, but was disappointed to find that there were no instructions.

Don't I need boiling water or anything?
Do you need to waste everybody's time posting dopey questions like this?

Frankly, if you need help with this simple question, I'm surprised you even managed log on to your computer in the first place.

Whilst I know the answer to this, I do not propose to dignify this pea brained question with a reply.

Sheesh ... some people.

(Two sugars please).
I bought one too, I`m taking mine back as there are no tea bags and hot water with it
Give him coffee.

LOL

Ooh ... I hadn't even considered the "sugar" angle.

Now I'm REALLY worried.
Will he get a muffin?
Although when I bought mine the lady asked if I wanted a bag and I said "No thanks"..perhaps that`s got something to do with it
haha Elvis...brilliant...lol
Do you honestly think vicars still only drink tea made in teapots these days?!?!?

Come and join us in the new millenium!!!
give the vicar a glass of sherry instead :)
..or whisky if he's a 'spirit' man!
There is a fab song of More Tea Vicar by Kevin bloody Wilson that would make you chuckle but unfortunately I can't do a link. Sorry!!!
