average serving of butter

does anyone know roughly how much a serving of butter would be on 1 slice of bread would it be 10grammes or would it be less?

like many i`m almost permanantly on a diet lol, i use as little butter as i can on bread, when i use soft room temprature butter each slice uses between 3 & 5 grms :-)

Judge for yourself using those individually wrapped butter portions. They come in two sizes, 10gms and 7gms.
