what's the worst tasting thing...

you've ever had in your mouth? You know, so bad that you shudder even when spitting it out? I have just had an mouldy brazil nut. I have NEVER tasted anything like it in my life! It was almost a chemical, toxiny feel, like it would really make me ill. I wondered if anything else could taste so bad?

Most definitely "andouliette" it was vile.

We were in Paris and a fellow diner was presented with it and I glanced across inquisitively. He offered me a taste and I felt obliged to try it.

It was the most pungent awful thing that I have ever tasted.

Chewing gum made from dried resin. The taste was vile enough and with the added sensation of shattered glass on your tongue... must have been fifteen years ago but it still comes back to haunt me.

1. Raw sea urchin. (Imagine eating someone elses snot cooked in Sloanes Linament & you'll get the picture)

2. Fruit bat stew. (Black & foul)

3. Roast seagull (think fishy chicken with grit)

4. Haggis (peppered sawdust)

I'm a veggie so I haven't tried surstr�mming but I can tell you it divides the Swedish nation into us and them... You have to eat it outdoors FFS!

hippyhoppy I love a thin spread of Marmite on toast covered with sliced banana but I hate the aftertaste of Marmite... doesn't seem to agree with my chemistry.

A dog turd, i used to cut grass for the local council, and whilst strimming some got flicked up into my mouth, Don't know what the dog had eaten but it wasn't nice lol
