Fill the bag up to about a third of compost (or whatever soil mix you want) and put 3-4 spuds in about 3-4 inches down. As the plants grow gradually fill until you reach the top of the bag. Potatoes take between 80 (salads and earlies) and 120(main crop) days after planting. Good luck. ( as you see with my previous thread I have just started to eat mine grown this way in the greenhouse).

many tks Squitty,
theres nothing like the taste of home grown veg. usually our runner beans taste so good we have them steamed on their own with a knob of butter as a starter, I only wish I had a big garden.
best rgdsDee
My wife also sent off for these spuds, I reckon the same ones as you've got, and Squitty is absolutely correct in the way they are grown.

Dee sa - I have an allotment. I love the challenge of making all sorts of things grow. The greenhouse was bought to 'feed' the allotment. Its even got grapes in it now.
how do you grow potatoes?

pmsl priceless!
When the foliage has flowered, have a `fumble` just below the soil surface with your hand to find a few `tatties` large enough for a meal and let the foliage die down before you finish with it. Don`t let it dry out during growth. I feed mine with Tomato feed during growth.
