I've got a recipe (american) which calls for dry wheat cereal. Can anyone tell me what the uk equivalent would be, maybe Weetabix, Ready Break? Any help appreciated.

I would guess that either of those can be used. Both will soften up in liquid....the 'ready break' type more so,and it may also absorb more moisture. Experiment, and try both if you can.

PS---BTW -love your name...my daughter's first toy was a glove-puppet raccoon we called 'rocky'...lol
