How many WeightWatchers points for men and women of different weights?
3 Answers
Am about to embark on WeightWatchers programme without actually attending or paying each week. I have most of the literature, but am missing the part which tells you how many points men and women of differing weights are allowed each day (e.g. i used to be allowed 32 points at a certain weight, and the allowance gradually decreased as i lost weight...) My fiancee is also giving it a shot, so i need the whole picture of male and female allowances for the whole weight range - have made a few attempts, but guess my searching skills are too poor... Any kind/skillful ABers able to help me out? A thousand thanks... Trillipse

Weight Watchers Points For Men And Women
Although trying to keep a track of points values on food may sound complicated, it is actually made very easy and manageable by Weight Watchers system. They provide you with literature at your first meeting, which will give you the points value of many popular food and drink items. You also receive a very useful points calculator, which enables you to quickly and easily work out the points value of any food by cross referencing the saturated fat and calorie content of the item. All of Weight Watchers own range of food is pre-pointed so that you can see at a glance whether it is suitable for your eating regime. Many menu items at restaurants are also given points values to enable healthy eaters to monitor their fat and calorie intake even whilst eating out. The points allowed each day differ for men and women and depend upon the weight of the person. Typical points to weight ratios are as follows:
Weight
* 1 Stone = 6.35 Kg
Recommended Points For Man Recommended Points For Women
Under 10 stone
24 points per day 18 points per day
10-12 stone
26 points per day 20 points per day
12-14 stone
28 points per day 22 points per day

the above is only semi accurate, your weight, height and also your activeness throughout the day also come into the working out of your daily points allowance.
join, you will love it and if your positive and focused you will soon be at your goal and like me loving everything about the diet and the people.
i think meetings are better than online as you can make so many friends - i use the net for the forums and making friends on the community pages but the people at the meetings are real flesh and blood and we have such a laugh.
it is easy and you will get loads of support - and it will even let you have junk if you save your points (just had my friday treat of a huge cheslea bun he he and i hit my goal in may this year)
good luck to you both xxxx
