I love the American adverts for them on cable. However, I've always thought they are the sort of thing that would be tucked aay in the cupboard and never used - along with the electric bread knife, electric can opener, knife sharpener etc.

my favourite use for my oven is to cook salmon fillets from frozen (approximately 6-7 minutes each side) -top with a teaspoon of sweet chilli sauce last 2 minutes. before i had the oven i used to defrost them overnight then often never used them the next day so they were wasted.
