well to tell you the truth im not a bad cook ,i spotted it in the supermarket today and was just wondering if its any good,
Never used a commercially prepared sauce in my life! Can't afford to pay s for something that I can put together in a few minutes for a fraction of the price.
Can only suggest that you use it and find out for yourself, but do yourself a favour and look at the ingredients first.
If you want a good cook in sauce, why not try a tin of Campbells condensed mushroom soup. Just throw in chicken, carrots, mushrooms & onions, then put it in the oven for an hour.

that sounds nice i might give that a go,
carrust, I don't understand; why buy a tin of soup if you are going to the trouble of buying and preparing the veggies anyway?

I didn't know Aunt Bessie did this kind of thing!

Anyway I rarely buy cook in sauces, it is easy to make your own if you have the time.
On a similar vein, I buy packet soups, but always enhance them a bit. For veggy soup, I add a few fresh veggies and a soup mix of dried veggies from the supermarket. It makes it thicker and tastier.
Madmaggot. If you're short of time, the soup makes a quick, cheap & easy cook in sauce. How long does it take to prepare carrots, onions & mushrooms...about 5mins. I also have an allotment, so most of my veg are home grown.
