Kebabs again

You all got me thinking about kebabs now.....

 

How do they get lamb (little sheepy things) into the shape of a dead man's leg?  Which part of the lamd does the meat come from?  Or maybe I don't really wanna know......

Its awful.  When the lamb or sheep has been butchered, and all cuts of meat are gone, what's left on the carcass is hosed with a high pressure spray.  This removes all the remaining meat et al, and is collected then minced.  Garlic and spices are added and the 'meat' is shaped into our favourite cylinder.  Yum.

I've suddenly lost my appetite for kebabs, perhaps I'll have a jacket potato next time I'm lagered up.  Or chips.

i said that when i found out, but quickly folded.  mmmm...luke warm toasted remnants.  i haven't had one for ages, but all this kebab talk has me keen.  Shame on you natalie_1982, you've ruined my diet.

THis reminds me of an account I heard, possibly on the Food Programme, about a spam factory. Live pigs went in, and the _only_ thing coming out was tins of spam.

I can't see what difference it makes what bits or 'leftovers' are used to make it.  You are still eating dead animal at the end of the day, whether it be fillet steak or a kebab.

And no, I'm not a vegetarian, I love kebabs!!

Cos I don't want the mangy bits of meat thanks sammy snake!  I'd prefer to have some tasty meat that isn't mixed up with testicles, toe nails and eye lashes.
