Blood spots in my chickens eggs

My Pekin Bantam hatched her brood and 2 weeks ago she came back in to lay and produced her first egg in 12 weeks. They were tasty but we were a bit concerned that the first 3 eggs had significant blood spots in the yolk. I would love to know what the reason could be for this....... anyone?
I'm thinking that it maybe because she had become quite stressed as her chicks grew up, but I really have no idea!
