how to cook roast potatoes?please

par boil for about 5 mins,drain, return to saucepan, shake to rough them up a bit, add oil or or melted fat of ypur choice, and stir until the potatoes are fully coated then put in tray or on the wire rack and cook on 220 for about an hour depending how big they are and how well cooked you like them :0-)

just realised i gave the cooking time for jacket potato, roasties only take 40-45 mins depending on size and variety :-)
