I reckon they'd be lovely cooked in red wine and add some caramelised shallots near to the end of cooking. Serve with parsnip and potato mash and veg of your choice.
sauteed/stewed in oven (shallow dish) with tinned toms, peppers, garlic, onion, oregano & red wine - greek style goulash? Served on bed of savoury rice...............called tambi-bambi
