Passion fruit growing in England
I am thinking of growing passion fruit against a south facing wall. I live in Cheshire in the north west. Has anyone any experience of growing the fruit and will it ripen outdoors? Any other comments would be useful

It goes soft very quickly, is a bit 'messy' with not a lot of taste.....Very decorative though. A Kiwi is a much better option...I think so anyway. iI have a Kiwi on my south facing wall and at the moment there are litteraly hundreds of fruit on it and very tasty too..x
Yes, Passion Fruit will grow very nicely on a South facing wall in Cheshire, N/W - we live there! Well drained soil and plenty of water in the growing season, however, I've not known the fruits to be successfully grown for eating.
