looking for a substitute for chantrelle mushrooms...

the chantrelles are very nice and tasty but here in the states are quite expensive....any thoughts on a good alternative that has a nice woodsy/outdoorsy flavour that doesnt cost an arm and a leg??

thanks for the responses....the one store i found (here in the states) has access to these-
maitake for $12.99 a pound/trumpet royales for 12.00 a pound/morels for 34.00 a pound/porcini for 69.99 a pound ('bout fell on the floor when i read that one) chanterelles for 24.99 a pound/shitake for 7.99 a pound and wood ear for 12.99 a pound.....availability maybe another story but i figured that it was a good start....as far as the using dried, just rehydrate in boiling water for a few minutes, squeeze out the liquid and go??
