Female Budgie lying on her front

I have a young female budgie who has recently started lying on her front, as I have these flat wood perches that allow for her to do so. (She doesn't do it on normal perches)... she is in a cage with 2 male budgies and ever since she's been in the cage she's partnered off with the one male... the other male is happy by himself.
I've never seen them mate but they are very much all over each other 24/7... she doesn't act like a normal budgie though, she obviously wants to mate and actually lies on her back to try and get the male bird to mate with her. She also goes near the side of the cage and puts her back to the bars and spreads her legs so that the one leg is up on the bars obviously in order for him to have 'easier access'! I've had budgies all my life but never seen a female do this before! It's like she's human!
Anyway, with all this in mind, her funny ways and her situation, do you think she may be about to lay eggs and that's why she lies on her front? She is a very fit bird, very healthy, happy and active.. there is no sign of illness, but I thought maybe she was a little too young to lay eggs? And after all, I haven't seen them mate, not to say that they aren't when I'm not looking. What do you think? Thanks for any help!

Better check again emma just incase 'Female' budgie is in actual fact a male.
Might be a Gay Budgie and you will have to get your eggs elsewhere !

No, she is definitely a she! Her cere has been brown since I had her and it's crusty brown when she wants to breed...
I have to add too, that there is a mating/nesting box in the cage that she doesn't seem interested in at all, but she does nest around in the seed dish.

Think she is going to lay eggs,have had a similar thing , lying on her front, by the only budgie I have ever had, prior to her being eaten by the 1 cat I have ever had.Do you wonder that I am now totally a dog person, don't seem to have much luck with other species.

maybe she should be in a separate cage - she sounds exhausted fending off 2 males. Put one male to her for an hour daily only.
