yeah jamboree bags but for the toy not the rock hard little sweets and toffees. Lengths of licorice with a `diamond' ring tied on it - hated the licorice loved the rings! Fry's 5 Boys (?) a little bar of chocolate with heads instead of chunks, all with different soft fillings.
My mum used to work at Barratts Sweet Factory and if you knew how they treated the stuff you would not touch any of it! The sweepings were used to make the sweet tobacco. My favourites were the jelly dummies, even though I knew where they came from.

Cola cubes.. Pineapple chunks.. that weird flavoured sugar stuff... Milk bottles.. pink shrimps.. ahh - I remember that little shop 'The Candy Box'... 9p for a bag of sweets.. can't buy a freddo for less than 15p these days!!!
I will replace it - I learned my lesson when the kids were little and I got an attack of the munchies. All that was in the house was their advent calendars.
