How it Works41 mins ago
I've just been given six duck eggs

I've never tried one and I've been told they are strong tasting. Any ideas how to use them up? I'm not that much of an egg fan.

We get duck eggs from a neighbour quite often, and like you were a bit dubious about them.
When people say they are "strong" they really mean they have a very distinct egg taste, more than say hens eggs.
To try them we first made them into an omelette, and after that as soft boiled, fried, and poached eggs.
If you are doubtful (as you must be) I would try an omelette as the first way.

I remember having the occasional duck egg for breakfast as a child. Many years later I was passing a market stall where they were on sale so bought one. I had it soft boiled for breakfast the next day and it was delicious and very filling. Only problem was I could still taste it 2 days later. They are lovely, but very strong-tasting.
