Spring vegetable soup
Melon with Parma ham

Mains:
Steak pie with golden flaky pastry, baby new potatoes and garden peas,
Diced chicken breast with a sweet chili, lime and cilantro dressing, crispy garden salad potatoes of choice (baby new, jacket or hand cut chips)
Leg of lamb steaks with a mint and rosemary crust, creamy mash, broccoli and carrots, rich red wine gravy.

Puds:
Lemon lush mousse cake
Chocolate cake with 'Irish coffee' sauce
fresh fruit flan
whipped cream or homemade vanilla ice cream to go with.

mercia, what do you think of my cheesecake? I addapted a recipe and tested it to see if the chocolate would work and how much and i've go it just about right now.

Now Mollykins - Personally, I don't like orange with chocolate, BUT, saying that, if you liked it, and your mum, and it worked for you then brilliant! and as for working on it to get it just right, that's just the right attitude - very VERY well done!

As for your other question, When I left University, i got married and I've worked in kitchens all over the world, Europe, North america, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Egypt. I cme back to england, had my own catering business up until 4 and a half years ago when a very bad car accident (I broke my back and shattered my pelvis) and now I only cok for dinner parties for friends and relatives.
