Ever ordered something mega hot at the Indian and so badly regretted it the next day?

And is there anything you can to ease the side effects?

Help. :-(

No I haven't....lol

I always find a glass of coke settles my stomach.
Yougurt. You're supposed to eat it after any particularly hot indian meal.

And no, never had an indian I couldn't handle but then the hottest I'll go to is a madras and even then I really have to be in the mood for it. Get some of those tummy settler things (not rennie or indigestion, stuff you'd take for an upset tummy) and drink lots of water and you should be right by tea time.
Oh, thought you meant Indians as in the people. And I was going to answer that no, I didn't know any.
It's a bit of a "ladette" thing to do, isn't it.

And ... yes ... all too often.

Don't think you can do much ... short of an emergency colonic irrigation !!
I thought you were commenting on that lovely Indian actor who plays Said in Eastenders....
You mean the Hot Anus Syndrome.... smother it in sudocrem.

I had a Pahadi Murg Tikka which was very hot, but lovely.

As for yoghurt... I have some probiotic yoghurt drinks in the cupboard... ?

I usually never suffer like this.

I love hot food, JJ... I am my own worst enemy with an Indian menu.

I don't need imodium... Just something to stop the stomach pain. :-(
Names for the "morning after" condition.

Bangladesh Express

Burning ring of fire.

Any more ?
Pro-biotic will get stuff moving which I imagine would be a good thing although I was thinking of natural yougurt. That mint yougurt you get in indians, I've seen them being given in a little pot for when people have ordered particularly hot curries.

What's actually happening to you? Bunged up or erm... well the opposite?
Glass of milk?
I like my Indian food to be spicey and fairly hot, but I never eat anything that is uncomfortable that way the day after is nice.
Ah, tummy pains... Get some proper tummy settlers for when you have a tummy bug not just indigestion, drink water and go back to sleep for a bit. You'll be ok.

Neither, CD. It's perfectly normal in terms of movement (I can't believe I'm having this conversation) but I have dire stomach pains...

There's a rather nice icecream place down the road... would that help :-) ?
Only if you use the cone as a funnel, and shove the ice cream up your bum.
Was that a bit too graphic ??

lol... I'm going to regret asking this question.

They do a rather yummy Greek yoghurt, honey and caramelized walnut icecream. I would only be eating it for the therapeutic properties of the yoghurt, naturally.
Ooh, actually that sounds nice JJ. I don't have a burning ring of fire, but may well try that anyway. that, or a strawberry Mivi.
Sals ... you are such a perv !
