advie on being pregnant and having fibromyalgia needed please
Hiya
I have been on a ridiculous concoction of tramadol, paracetamol, amatryptaline, cocodamol and movicol for a year4 now and last week discovered i am pregnant.
I have stopped taking all of my drugs except the paracetamol and also started taking a prenancy vitamin mix.
Is there any advice for pregnant women with fibromyalgia? are there any particular things that can help ease the pain, nausea?
im told i need to rest by my dr at the surgery, but my fibro dr says i need to get lots of exercise and not one of my health care team can agree on anything... help
Hope to hear from you all soon
Cheers

As experts don't seem to agree how about contacting the Fibromyalgia support group? Sorry haven't got time to find address as have to go out but there must be a wealth of pooled and not too diverse info. within that group. I have friends with fibro. My OH has long term polymyalgia rheumatica (7 years and no sign of let up) and the support groups have been very helpful. Good luck!
