Culinary Preferences

Over the past few days we've had talk of chilli and cheese in baked spuds (I must admit I love that filling) and cheese and jam sandwiches (for the love of God !)...

So I was just wondering if you had any questionable culinary preferences or funny food fads you'd care to share?

Banana and marmite sarnie, anyone?

i'm eating peanut butter (crunchy, smooth is wrong) and marmite rolls right now

Fluffy... you're right... peanut butter should have a peanutty crunchiness to it !!

I simply adore peanut butter and honey with banana on wholemeal toast.

Another one of my strange fads is cooking a really hot curry and sprinkling salted peanuts on top when I serve it out.

Put this in the other day. A mate of mine's daughter eats scrambled eggs on toast covered in gravy.....

I love chicken and mayo salad baguette, dipped in hot sweet coffee. Much to my husbands disgust! It's lush, but I must admit I'm also partial to cheese and jam sandwiches and toasted cheese on toast with honey drizzled over it.

BoBUGS! Precisely! Deep fried camember and redcurrant jelly is a standard dish in many pubs these days. I say that toasted cheese on toast with jam is a good "poor man's version" :-) It's ace!!!

banana and HP sauce is a favourite of mine. My son also likes the banana, peanut butter and honey combination - he also likes it replacing the banana with jam.

I must admit I love cheese and marmite sandwiches - I was really pleased to see that Marks and Spencers sell them now :)
