Hi everyone, I cleaned the cupboards out and have several bags of out of date flour and a bag of polenta/corn maize. It seems a shame to throw it away, so I'd like to make some kind of bird cake. Can I just mix it with water, bake it and then turn it into bird crumbs in the processor do you think. Or is a proper bird cake the way to go, ie with lard and fruit and cheese etc. Thanks. PS the flour is only a couple of months out of date not years :-)
