Lamb kebabs - chunks of leg of lamb, marinated in olive oil, garlic, lemon zest and juice, black pepper, on skewers with peppers/onion/mushrooms, served with saffron vegetable rice

Puds
Tropical fruit salad - mango, kiwifruit, grapes, pineapple strawberries banana and peaches with cream/ice cream

Apple pie with cinnamon ice cream or whipped cream
OR
Red berry trifle

12 cheeses crackers, grapes and celery

Coffee/liqueur coffee

Tis JJ - smooth with a creamy Guinness type head - oooh...i've done it now.....Guinness i love Guinness
I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I think the thin beers with bubbly heads are nicer than the smooth beers with creamy heads.

Our local brewery is called Harvey's. It's meant to be very nice beer.

Joe, My brother in law works as a brewer at Theakstons, I love the Old Perculier and the XB in bottles, and I like the Best bitter or the Black bull draught - the seasonal ale Paradise is lovely too...

Isn't Black Bull a separate brewery ?
i think im back in the seventies i dont know what to have
asparagus - lamb - fruit salad with ice cream. No cheeses or coffee.
Oh and the wine (she said trying to sound casual about it!)
I've just Googled that brewery.

It's called "Black Sheep" ... not Black Bull.
