`m sure I can remember Lime flavoured ice-cream from before the WW2, and wonder if anyone else can also, it was delicious.

I've made lime ice cream, it was very nice!! I make more Lime sorbet though, which is even nicer

Combine the chopped ginger with the ginger syrup and juice from two limes. Soften the ice cream and quickly stir the ginger mixture and lime mixture into it. Pack the mixture in plastic containers, cover, and freeze until firm.
