Are you a lover of this? I absolutely love this but which is the best brand as I've recently brought Tesco's own brand and it wasn't nice at all. Isn't all cottage cheese made the same? How does one brand taste great an another so foul? Also what do you like to eat your cottage cheese with?

Sainsbury's is nice, it's quite creamy. I add it to mascapone when making cheesecakes, I like it in jacket potatoes, It's nice on crispbreads or slices of french or italian bread, i like to add things like diced peppers and onion, pineapple, apple and nuts - my aunt likes it on pasta with garlic and fresh herbs

I haven't shopped in sainsburys for years merciasounds. Is it their own brand?
I usually get the Tescos one with pineapple and love it. Usually have it on jacket spuds or ryvita
I like the Co-op one on a jacket potato with fresh chives. Delicious!
Gross stuff!!!!!
The best ever is Longley Farm but it's quite regional. It's made in Yorkshire but available all over the north west. Sorry to Southerners if you can't get it.Lovely and creamy
I've only ever tasted the Lidl brand which I enjoyed with cream crackers a few time.

I think I need to go on a "Cottage cheese run" and log which tastes the best etc...
Love plain cottage cheese on those dutch toasts
I like cottage cheese a lot, but not keen on the versions with different things, e.g. pineapple, ham, chives. etc. Would prefer to put those things in myself. I like mine on wholemeal toast or jacket potatoes.
