Out of the standard primary and secondary colours, it is only orange that is a fruit aswell?
For example you get apple which is a shade of green but green (nor purple, blue, yellow or red) are actually fruits are they? Just checking for a quiz, it's a simple question but there might be some exotic rare fruit called a blue etc etc . . .
Molly, a prune is called a prune in both English and French too - you could complicate your question by asking what the connection is between oranges and prunes (both have the same name in both languages)
If we are talking painting/pigments primaries are Red, Blue and Yellow with secondaries of Purple, Orange and Green.
If we are talking light then primaries are Red , Green and Blue with secondaries of Magenta, Cyan and Yellow.
When setting a quiz, though it is good to puzzle the participants you can easily alienate them by making the question either too convoluted or not clear enough.
Saw a very nasty incident at a Pub quiz some years back, involved a set of darts and the quizmaster still walks with a limp. LOL
