What's on your menu/agenda today then?

I've got some work to do and have chosen to do it in a calm and quiet environment, on my lonesome - hence I will not be cooking today. I have a nice selection of M&S Sushi and I will have a glass of McGuigans Chardonnay/Viognier which I picked up in Tesco earlier.

Hi NoM, I have to list some stuff on eBay - free listing day today! - then crack on with the spare bedroom. I went swimming first thing but it made me so relaxed, I fell asleep for an hour - just woke up!

See ya later, Pasta. And remember... it's against the law to do "healthy" on sunday

;-) xx

Boxy... I could do with an extra hour in bed. I was up at 5:40am. :-(
That's my usual rising time NoM, but since I was on here until nearly 1 am this morning, i had a bit of a lie in today - I had to set the alarm for 7 am!
I'm doing a hot curry to combat my cold, been to our local asdas, 0.9m away and they are resurfacing the A6 and so the detour was 3.8 miles! Not happy cos had to queue at the Stop - Go signs one of the workmen was controlling, he was useless! Tempers were frayed! (not mine cos I had Garth songs on in the car)
chicken, stuffing, roast taters, roast parsnips, yorkshire puds and sweetcorn :-)

Dot... I do love a nice, hot curry. Remember to put some fresh chillies in it.

Hi Nom x
Just had my roast lamb .. locally reared. Very nice.
I love that crispy skin on the outside : )

You must have a fluffin' wine vault or something .. Why not get into selling it?! Get a vineyard planted at your Nan's place.
about to shove a chicken in the barbie....lovely.
If I was on my own today I would go for the sushi too, I love M and S sushi.
careful ttfn, cheese is bad for you
4xGet : ) Didn't see you there .. soz.
Down in Devon, got to feed the farm hands too - 17 for lunch - Roast sirloin of beef, little Yorkshire puds, crispy golden crunchy roasties, baby new boiled potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, peas. Gravy horseradish sauce
OR
Roast Hogget (1 year old Lamb) leg with onion sauce, veg as above.

Puddings are: Baked egg custard with stewed plums
Apple and raspberry pie ice cream, cream or custard
Fresh cream strawberry gateau
Sherry trifle

I wish I had a wine vault, Al. My late brother used to keep his epicurean collection of reds down in my nan's cellar.

TTFN... a banquet then?

Woofgang... Their sushi is great, but your chicken sounds like a great alternative.

Anyway...

Whoop, whoop... Bobjugs is coming up to see me this evening. :-)))))))
Question Author
