Is everything alright Red? Some little toe-rag, well two actually, tried to steal a combine harvester from my brother's farm in the early hours. Luckily for him I was up, and I let the dogs out and they rounded them up!!
We had to wait for hours for the police to arrive - one cheeky so-and-so even asked if HE could have a cup of tea while they waited!

You would have been so proud ttfn! They barked and barked, i got the two to sit down on the ground with their hands on their heads! And the dogs stood guard - even Lotte came out and put in her four pen'oth!!

I had a retriever who silently caught a burglar and put his teeth in his bum (had to go to hospital). The burglar drew attention to his own fate right enough. The police brought Sam a huge bone the next day and asked had he been trained? Not likely - dogs are so intuitive! They park 'em and you had a butchers (so to speak (;-)) !!)
