I want to make some Cornish Pasties. Anyone got a tried and tested recipe with quantities of ingredients required please? I want them tasty, big and meaty.

Use beef skirt .
Rosy Shragers recipe is easy .But use half marg and lard for the fat .Not all lard .

I've had a craving for a pasty the size of a dinner plate all day... one I can really get my teeth in to...
haha ..my old Mum was a cornishwoman .She made tattie oggies to die for .They covered the plate and lasted a week :)
After all that pastry, i got these on standby....

Thanks craft. That looks a little dry but I guess Pasties don't have 'gravy' in them...

shouldn't be dry with all the veg in....I like mine with loads of onion.

When I do it, I'm going to make a batch of them. Will they freeze ok?
Why not freeze unbaked ones, then bake them as you need them.
