TINNED TOMATOES with salmon?
30 Answers
I've just bought a whole salmon from Waitrose ... 5.5kg
It's for Sunday, when I've got a few pals coming for lunch.
I was just going to poach it, and then take the skin off and stick cucumber slices on the outside.
I wonder if it would be nice marinaded in tinned tomatoes?

I've bought them a barrel of beer, and barrel of Kronenbourg, for their BFs and husbands.
I've bought one of those hand pump things, like you get in pubs, and a chiller for the lager, with a tap, also like you see in pubs. There's a big pile of boxes and pipes and gas regulators in the hall. I might get Olive to assemble them all tomorrow.
I think I need a cylinder of CO2. Where do you buy gas from, I wonder? GasAreUs ?
I think it will be fun, and then my pals can use it all when they have barbecues and things (as long as they store it for me, cos it's a bit big to keep here).
Anyway ... back to tinned tomatoes ... !

You need a co2/N mix for beer, not straight CO2.
Your best bet for that is probably to ask a local friendly landlord if they will rent you a bottle, you can also check with them if you need a 60/40 or a 70/30 mix for the type of beer you have (it's been a few years since I worked in a pub and I can't remember which is used for what)
