I'm getting a bit fed up with tea and toast, cereal or a fry up. Yesterday I made pancakes. What other options are there for a nice brekkie?

snags, that's more of a lunch. With Era Vulgaris for supper.
Glad you tried it flobadob, shouldn't have been soggy though. Maybe a bit more heat or on for longer next time :)
''Era Vulgaris for supper''

And drift off to Lullabies To Paralyze ;-p
take the stalk off of a large mushroom put it on a plate gills upward stick a knob of butter in the middle, sprinkle some worcestershire on it according to taste, microwave until the butter has melted and the mushroom has gone saggy and flat. Put the mushroom on some toast (no need to butter it) and pour the juices over it. eat, enjoy. One of the quickest, easiest, nicest cooked breakfasts that I know.

Can't stand mushrooms unfortunately. I just saw a couple of blackberries growing out the back there. I might pick a few and use them tomorrow morning. Cannae wait. Saying that I've no idea what I'll do with them. Back to pancakes probably.
40g porridge oats made with water in the microwave then mash in a small ripe banana or some raisins or cooked apple and some sweetener... very healthy and filling and low on cals etc.

also small tin of peaches and natural yoghurt or how about an omlette.
