Making Red Pesto.

Hi guys, I need to make some red pesto fairly quickly. I simply refuse to go and buy any or buy any of the required ingredients and so I will need to improvise.

I have herbs. I have sunflower seeds instead of pine nuts. I have sundried toms. I have various cheeses, but not grana padano or parmesan.

Any ideas? Muchas gracias... x

Heck, I forgot the garlic ! I put some cheddar and some goats' cheese in it. It came out more like a paté, but I'll use the rest to stuff in a chicken breast tomorrow - which I may even breadcrumb for an interesting kiev type thingy.

sounds nice, i wish i could eat stuff like tht but cooked tom's hate me :-(

In what way? I have a friend whose tongue swells up when she eats cooked tomatoes.
