saltpetre terrorist

if saltpetre for rubs and preservaving is not sold for cookery hobbies because of "terrorists" reasons then why is it sold in gardening shops? and i'd also like to know if this variety of (potassium nitrate) saltpetre is edible when used in cooking? and also does anyone know how to make a chorizo/dried pork sausage recipe?

Dunno about the saltpetre issue. Perhaps it's to do with the purity - foodstuffs need to be much purer than something you'd mix into the soil.

i've already used that recipe ... its tastes like cack. maybe its my cooking LoL. would prefer authentic recipe like how they usually make in spain/mexico
