Nearly always had christmas dinner on boxing day as it's my birthday and when the whole family were together, christmas day dad would work in the morning and mum wouldn't be back til later as she was helping do the dinner for elderly and those alone at christmas in the parish. Dad would make us a fry up on christmas day which was always amazing.

I bloody hate christmas dinner.
can;t even remember if or what i ate xmas last year, i was workign so probably toast. i don;t do xmas and not really bothered what i eat!

my youngest son would have spag bol every day if he could!

i must confess to letting him have it fo xmas dinner.last year. i know its naughty to give in but i was in a good mood (it must have been the sherry i had for breakfast lol)
Hello zee, why not?
We are away in Lanzarote so it will be a bit different for me this year as well
go fo it !
Will Mr Zee be happy with hat as well?
jubianna what a lovely dog!
thanks bobbi x
Always had Xmas dinner....Except I don't like turkey so we tend to get a small turkey crown. Our xmas dinner is always paid for by Gingers boss.

Start the day with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and champagne.

If we're having a houseful then I'll do the prep the night before...if not..it's just a Sunday dinner with a few extras.

Question Author
in fact wouldnt it be brillian to have kfc open xmas day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No...KFC is mank :-(

I love Duck too pasta....I might get some for xmas dinner. The kids don't eat it so will only need to duck breasts, small turkey crown and a small joint of beef...

I'm hungry..
Unlike a Turkey crown I don't think a Duck crown will go very far. One swallow and it's gone.
