Israeli Football Fans Attacked In...

Whilst on holiday in Portugal many years ago I used to nibble on dried octoput tenticles with the local fishermen. They used to chew it instead of nuts or crisps and it was delicious. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows if it is available in the UK?. The octopus is battered against the slipway to tenderise it, then it is dried in the sun and then cooked on the bar b q.
The fishermen take a tenticle to the bar with them and slice off thin slivers with a pocket knife. Yummy :)
