I have some nice little bottles I want to use to put my sloe gin in. Problem is that they used to have a flavoured oil in and I can't get rid of the smell. How can I do this - any ideas anyone? Thanks

Domestos
Try leaving a solution of bicarbonate of soda in them overnight. That's good for absorbing smells. Made my sloe gin last weekend but can't stop tasting it!!
lol mike, try= very hot water and some lemon juice?

Lol Mike - I'll pass on that. I'll certainly have a go at the others though. Thanks to all.
