not exactly a question of huge importance but hey!..

his recipe calls for creme fraiche, can I use cream instead? will there be a massive taste difference?

You can use either I supose, I prefer the taste of double cream to creme fraiche . . . .

creme fraiche is possibly being used as a lower fat option...i would think that cream (double if poss) would be ok in a chicken pie - if you only have single, be careful not to use too much x

i would. doubt you would notice any taste difference in a chicken pie.

Or you could just open a tin of campbells condensed chicken and white wine soup and use that as a sauce.....Jamie does like his cheats so why not use them.
