Is there a way to extract the alcohol that remains in the left over sloes after the gin is finished, or to use the sloes in any other useful way?
thanks

:-)
Eat them like unpitted olives and spit the stones out when all flesh has been savoured and devoured. If you have made the sloe gin properly you will then be able to carry out your own root canal work/teeth extractions withour feeling a thing. Be careful not to bite your lip mind ;o)

I thought that too, I have mashed them up and am warming them through diluted in water.
Should work I think.
thanks
put them in a fruit cake
What I do is to stone them and then put them on a non stick tray and then coat them with melted chocolate. I find that Green and Blacks confectionary chocolate to be excellent.
mjd, I was going to say something similar, make a sort of florentine with them.
