Yes the party went very well - everybody absolutely enjoyed it (for what I can remember of it) I got so many beautiful presents one of them was a beautiful gold chain from one friend who said it was her deceased mother's and she wanted me to have it - what a lovely sentimental present which I will cherish and of course I bought myself a very very expensive diamond ring. Thank God all went well - so well I may have another one soon - maybe after Christmas - only this time I will do dinner - cooking those fiddly things like sausages, sausage rolls etc - too time consuming. Also they all went completely crazy with their party/goodies bag.

Glad you had a lovely time, it makes it all worthwhile in the end.
I bought myself an expensive 5 stone 50s style diamond ring a few years back. I told everyone it was half what I paid for it. Well, what they don't know they won't worry about I say. (G)
