Anyone remember a cake mix from the 80s. 2 packets in a box mixed with water, the bottom half was either blackcurrant or apple, with a sponge on top. All you did is mix with water and bake in the oven. The word magic something keeps coming to mind. Cheers

I think you may be thinking of Saucy Sponge which was as you describe. I don't think they make them anymore though
