Don't really know the answer to either question. He also advised me to drink two glasses of cranberry juice each day, which is o.k. because I like it. and this portion of "natural" yoghurt. I spoon out 5 dessertsponfuls but all thetime I am eating it, if you will excuse the expression, I am heaving and my stomach is churning against it. It tastes very sour. The treatment on the whole appears to be working so I want to go on with it. If only l could find a way to make it pleasant. Thanks everyone for your prompt help. I've tried putting fruit in but it spoils the fruit if anything. I'm going to try each suggestion in turn until I find something. Pasta I shall try your honey one first. I thought I might eventually develop a taste for it, like I did for tea without sugar - can't drink it with now but I've been eating it for a couple of months and still the same difficulty.
