They were useless, arguing and just generally clueless. I wouldnt give any of them a job. A bit like what Jamie Oliver did I suppose, he turned round a group of kids into staff didn't he

That's the idea though, jb - I watched it - most of these youngsters have never eaten in a restaurant by the sound of it, and certainly don't know when to stop mouthing off. It'll be interesting to see how their commitment changes over the show - that one lad seems to be finding it very hard work already.

And that is why that restaurant runs brilliantly on foreign staff.
The nearest that lot have got to eating out is McDonalds I suspect.

Some of them need to rid themselves of the huge chip they have on their shoulders, and then, and only then, will they see a light at the end of the tunnel. They all have potential, but do they have the b4lls to see the project through.

I think that it will make very interesting watching over the next few programmes - I was quite glad that MR told the young showy-off boy to leave, but then when he was interviewed afterwards he seemed quite nice when he was acting more normally, pity he didn't show that side of himself earlier.
