How do you eat your pasta ......spaghetti in particular, who on earth decided it is best eaten with a spoon & a fork ? This method doesn't work and you end up twizzling the pasta around and around and then when you think its ready to put in your mouth, it falls off !!!!!!! Anyone got any better suggestions....it goes cold by the time you get to actually eat some.
I have tried the fork only method, but the sauce and the pasta still slips off....fusili pasta is also a nightmare...that jumps off the spoon and you cant stab them with a fork either....
im not a big lover of pasta either really,
i just like a little bit now and again with my tasty homemade spicey tomato, onion and mixed peppers sauce,
i dont like cold pasta much..
If you have trouble with spaghetti, just use a different shaped pasta that you can manage. It all tastes the same after all. I like to use the tube shapes such as Penne Rigate, Maccheroni or Rigatoni as the sauce collects inside. Conchigliette is one that I also use - it's shaped a bit like a shell.
I have one of those battery operated forks - things can get quite lively at the table if it has new batteries in & is still twizzling when it's lifted out of the spag!
