Hello there, from time to time Isend recipes from Bangkok although they are not all Thai. This one is, and it is good. First, a little history. The lychee was originally grown in China and nobody, but nobody could eat it except the Emporer, unless he gave permission. When I lived in China is was just about impossible to buy them and most of my Chinese students and friends had never heard of them. Fresh is great but try the following, especially on a hot day:
Lychee and Grape Juice
Ingredients
85 ml/1/3 cup grape juice, 20 ml/1 1/4 tbsp lychee pulp, a squeeze of lime or lemon juice
Method
Put the ingredients into a blender and blend until the lychee fruit becomes a purée. Pour over ice in a glass and serve cold. Enjoy.
thanx all. 'nuf sed.
