dried royal icing on nozzle/tip

hiya

although i have cleaned my nozzles/tips after icing, i have apparently missed some on the inside wall of a tip.... i have scrubbed, soaked and scratched at it with a cocktail stil the little bit thats there wont come off.

can you help please as im stuck, no it wont effect my icing but i dont like to use the items unless pristine.

Boil the kettle, drop the nozzle in a cup, add boiling water ... stir ... rinse .. Bob's yer father's brother.

unfortunately have been doing that all day and the nasty little oojimiflic wont budge grrr
Buttercream will dissolve royal icing ... I have to add 'apparently', i've never tried it.
