Not. I do occasionally lightly fry one side of the bread though :)
fish fingers are nice in a sandwich also with too much ketchup and onions
a small amount on a bacon sarnie, sausage no.
Damn! I'm going to have to have one now...
Definitely Butter on a bacon butty. salt you just can't have enough! ;-)

I'm from Yorkshire we invented sausage butties... London tsk as if!!
Sausage butties have to have butter and a bit of fruity sauce.
sausage is good if it has garlic in it or some spices plain ones are just a waste of time.
definitely no butter but tomato sauce is a must
Definitely butter and tomato ketchup.
Oh no,butter alters the glorious taste of the bacon!
The only thing allowed extra should be brown sauce(tomato sauce is allowed as an alternative)
I am in London, and no butter please!
Just had a bacon and egg sarnie - delicious!
don't any of you lot use mustard on your sausage butties ? PHILISTINES !
NE England - definitely no butter, far too greasy otherwise. Dab of tomato sauce does me, also a fried egg if I'm feeling greedy.
Im as far south as you can go without getting your feet wet, and its a no butter vote from me :-)
