Probably the best thing to do is to make the pastry, add cooked chicked and diced hame plus anything else you want....maybe peas and sweetcorn, what about some leeks and mushrooms or maybe some shallots. Then, add a tin or two of Campbells Cream and white wine condensed soup...yes soup (or one of the hompride cook in sauces) and then add some dried thyme and bake it.

These questions are sooo difficult because there are many variations on a C&H pie. Mine is made from chicken, ham, leeks, onion, garlic, sometimes mushrooms in a veloute with tarragon for a nice kick.
