Am I a Water Label Snob?

I buy bottled water... when I can afford to. I pay a few more pence for the green bottles of Pellegrino (with the classy blue label) cos I like the look of it. Does this make me a label snob?

I first got into Pellegrino at Italian restaurants because I do genuinely like their bottled sparkling mineral water - but how sad is it to buy their still, just cos I like the label.

Come on - chastise me you lot.

Not at all, it just means you have more money than sense. :-)))

Oh well naz, I will agree with that !!

(Or at least, more credit than sense....)
The tap water here is the best I've tasted so I've no need to buy water. If I was out I'd opt for the cheapest bottle.
I was told off at work yesterday for buying the wrong bottled water. I usually just buy whatever is on special offer but the ones I bought this time had a red lid and apparently the boss doesn't feel right drinking water from a bottle with a red lid. WHAT!?!

Anyway, buying a drink cos you like the label is fine. That's how I buy my wine :o)
Eau dear!
Salla - shock me and tell me how much it is for a bottle

It's ok to tell me......I'm sitting down
yes.

about 99p for a small bottle of sparkling (500mls) , about £1.99 for a large - but cheaper if you buy in bulk packs.

About
That's not too expensive - better than I thought

Your money, your taste buds, your choice
Question Author
Not much more expensive than, say, Evian or Buxton.

I shall carry on then Mrs O, free of guilt and with your blessing.
Only tap water for me - unless I'm out shopping & gasping!
lol
We buy a six-pack of Pellegrino sparkling and it works out ca £1 a bottle.
I've never bought any bottled water in this country - I regard it as a very good marketing "con". But, as above, your money - your choice.

Exactamondo McM. I could be spending my money on fags,,,, so this is much better.
<<<<<<looks guilty at the mention of spending money on fags>>>>>>>>>
Wasser matter with all these folk who condemn the bottled stuff?
Question Author
I blag mine Mrs O (only smoke when drunk - and then I will accost anyone for a drag).

I do occasionally buy a pack of menthol Dorchester (I soooo like that green & gold packet, very classy), but only if I feel guilty at having smoked everyone else's .
As Bob Monkhouse pointed out,
Evian is "naive" spelt backwards
Salla, you're not tapping into you local water?

East Anglian water is unbeatable for taste, I'd suggest it is the finest in the country.

The worst has to be the South East.

All the best,

Spare
