Breast milk doesn't taste great tbh - cant imagine it made into ice cream.

Something such as this interests me - Everybody is OK to eat ice cream made out of the milk that comes from a cows breasts and yet from a human breasts the initial response by most is yuck! Why? Why do we find something that is made especially for human consumption so revolting?

oj, maybe it's something to do with the fact that we are meat eaters? We happily eat products and flesh from vegetarian animals, but we baulk at the same products from meat eating animals?

Now how about a thread on cannibalism - isn't it that Mum's milk is for a very wee one and our brains switch off from it - something with the hormones etc as we get weaned off. Then we see it as abhorrent, almost pseudo cannibalism.

Yet we men love a good nuzzle of a nice pert pair of nipples in helping to turn our women on - well I do anyway!

I think... cows are cows but women can be very different in all sorts of ways, I have a pair of breasts but just because I have them I don't what to feel someone else's or drink there contents...simples

btw what does breast milk taste like does anyone know???

Interesting point OJ made. A few years back I was on holiday with 3 friends (2 of whom were a couple and had an 8 week old baby who was being breastfed). We were camping the middle of nowhere and after a few days baby refused to take the milk from one breast. Mum became concerned and needed to eliminate her as a problem. The only way she could tell was to taste the milk from each breast and see if there was a difference. She asked us to do the same and I happily did so and noticed a difference. The 2 boys on the other hand went puce at the idea of tasting breast milk and refused to have anything to do with the whole thing!!

Mum did have an infection which was quickly sorted.

Mum and I were nearly hysterical at the boys' reactions though!

I found it quite bitter what..the. I only ever tasted my own when checking if some expressed milk was warm enough. If I wanted to have a some wine, I'd express milk before hand so that I didn't give the baby alcoholic milk! Then I could express and throw away the contaminated stuff next day.
