i havent bought any cakes or biscuits for ages but i fancy something really nice and sweet,thinking of making a banana loaf and cup cakes ip i can get a recipe,all the ones i googled were american and i had never heard of some of the stuff,

I haven't made these myself, but Nigella's usually pretty reliable.

Kate I'm sorry. I've looked through my recipe cards and so on but can't find anything. Haven't made cup-cakes for years but a sponge cake mixture but slightly runniier comes to mind.

No doubt another Ab'er will be of more use.
